If you have something in your heart but you are bringing some reason among your dreams this film will show you the right path & the passion to fulfill your dreams, this film will give you a motivation.
Whenever I think about films. I feel very proud that Indian cinema was started by a Marathi manus who had a passion for film making and he accomplished it with his hard work. And he made India’s first full length film “Raja Harishchandra”
One more interesting information about this film is that based on a play, he released it on 3 May 1913 at the Coronation Theater in Mumbai.
After the news spread, the film was given an extension for a few more days and after that the film continued to be housefull for 3 May to 25 May.
If you noticed as I mentioned above this film Raja Harishchandra officially released on May 3rd and because of this ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Awards’ distributed every year on 3rd of May.

Another informative thing is our Dada Saheb Phalke released the film “Raja Harishchandra(1913)” and made a golden debut of Indian cinema, before David Graffith, whom we call Father of Film Technology, released his film “The Birth of a Nation(1915).”
See you again on next friday.
